Pelayanan Persampahan di Kabupaten Buton Utara

Sampah menjadi persoalan yang paling menarik perhatian di Kabupaten Buton Utara. Sejak mekar menjadi Daerah Otonom Baru, persoalan sampah di Kabupaten Buton Utara belum bisa tertangani. Banyak masyarakat mengeluh terkait penanganan sampah yang belum maksimal. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini mencoba melihat dua hal terkait permasalahan sampah di kabupaten Buton Utara yaitu terkait pelayanan sampah dan faktor penghambat pelayanan sampah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Dari 10 indikator pelayanan belum semua indikator terlaksana dengan baik. Kesederhanaan prosedur, keamanan, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kemudahan akses, kesopanan dan keramahan sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Indikator kejelasan, kepastian waktu, akurasi produk pelayanan publik, kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana, kenyamanan belum berjalan dengan baik. Ada beberapa faktor penghambat dalam proses pelaksanaan layanan sampah di kabupaten Buton Utara. Dari 6 indikator faktor yang mempengaruhi pelayanan persampahan di Kabupaten Buton Utara, ada 3 indikator yang paling mempengaruhi pelayanan persamapahan. 3 indikator tersebut adalah kurangnya kesadaran, pendapatan pegawai yang masih rendah, dan kurangnya sarana prasarana yang digunakan dalam pelayanan persampahan.
